As a Midwife, I offer care for women from adolescence to menopause including pregnancy and childbirth. I see each woman as a unique gift to the world and I seek to care for them with a holistic and integrative approach. I honor their own natural process of pregnancy and childbirth and partner with them to achieve healthy outcomes.

Midwife means “with woman.” I am trained to listen, come alongside, and partner with women in their care which encompasses the health of the mind, body, spirit and soul.

Women's health is complex and every woman is unique. Appointments are not rushed as I listen and seek to uncover the root of the issue.

In pregnancy and childbirth, I inform women of their options and support them in their desires to have the best and safest experience. Studies have proven that midwifery care decreases cesarean rates, lowers the rate of induction, reduces the rate of anesthesia, decreases infant mortality rates, decreases the risk of preterm birth, and increases satisfaction with quality of care.

I love working in a practice where I can meet with each woman throughout their entire pre-conception, pregnancy, birth and beyond! This continuity of care is what makes my practice unique. I attend births at Dekalb Hospital and Auburn Birthing Center. I also accept Spanish speaking patients!
